Olivia Joy Jones

In 2002 Olivia graduated from the Surrey Institute of Art & Design, having studied silversmithing & jewellery. She had been designing & making jewellery as a hobby since & in 2010 decided to become a full time jeweller.

Olivia creates her unusual jewellery by using a mixture of Sterling Silver, 9ct Gold, 9ct Recycled Eco Gold, Freshwater Pearls, Swarovski® Crystals & Swarovski® Crystal Faux Pearls, Semi-precious Stones, fair trade Acholi beads, Miyuki Delicas seed beads, beach treasure & wood from fallen trees on her parents farm. All these materials enables Olivia to create a diverse selection of beautiful yet simple pieces, many of which are one off's'.

Olivia's main inspiration for her jewellery comes from the sea, beach & countryside around her home in South Devon. She finds inspiration from many unusual objects such as the age lines in a piece of wood, the patterns that bales of straw make when they are dotted around a field & tangled fishing tackle disregarded on a beach.
